The Proper Fools showroom was founded in September of 2004 by Tim Ellis and Sean Naughton. 

Tim and Sean worked previously for Ralph Lauren and J. Lindeberg before meeting at Italian design house Sixty Spa.  After a few years of service there they left the corporate world to go out on their own. 

With offices in NY and LA they specialize in brand building and full service sales of small and midsized brands. These labels now enjoy placement in better department stores, chains and premium specialty stores in the U.S. and abroad.
